Platelet-Rich Fibrin

PRF(Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a medical treatment that involves using a patient's own blood components to stimulate natural healing and rejuvenation. PRF is often used in various medical and cosmetic procedures due to its regenerative properties.

PRF is derived from the patient's own blood. A small amount of blood is drawn usually from the arm, similar to a routine blood test. This blood sample is then processed to separate and concentrate the platelets, growth factors, and fibrin. Nothing is added to it, no gels or chemicals.

The components of PRF include:

• Platelets: Platelets are tiny cell fragments in your blood that play a crucial role in clotting and wound healing. They contain growth factors that can promote tissue repair and regeneration.

• Fibrin: Fibrin is a protein that forms a network or scaffold, which helps in wound healing and tissue repair. It acts as a matrix that supports the platelets and growth factors.
