Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where are you located?

We’re at 251 W Garfield Rd, Aurora, OH 44202 (Inside PNC Bank Building). We are on the second floor in Suite 290.

Q: How do I book a consultation?

You can book your consultation here by selecting "Consultation."

Q: If I have recently had Botox, can I still get Dysport?

Yes. There are no contraindications to getting these two neurotoxins close together.

Q: What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?

The most common difference between Dysport® and Botox® is that Dysport® typically spreads faster and takes effect more quickly. If you're unsure which neurotoxin you would prefer, during your consultation we will discuss your goals and previous experience with neurotoxins and decide together what will get you the best results!

Q: How often should I get Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin?

It is recommended that you receive neurotoxin injections every 3-4 months. However, every individual is unique so we can discuss treatment plan recommendations at the time of your consultation or appointment.

Q: Should I come make-up-free to my appointment?

If you are able to arrive at your appointment make-up free please do! If not, no worries! We will remove any make-up prior to your treatment.

Q: Can I wear make-up after my treatment?

You should wait 6 to 12 hours before applying makeup to the area treated. This is to ensure that the injection site does not become infected. If you received a microneedling treatment, do not touch your face or apply makeup for the first 24 hours.

Q: Can I be numb for my lip filler treatment?

Yes. We want you to be fully comfortable during your treatment. We can use a Lotus specially formulated topical numbing cream to numb the area. However, a topical numbing cream does not numb the area 100%, so you may still experience some discomfort.

Q: How long does lip filler last?

Several factors influence how long your lip filler will last. Typically your lip filler will last anywhere from 6 to 12 months, sometimes even longer!

Q: What if I don't like my filler?

We want you to love your results and we'll work with you to make sure you're happy! If in the end, it's just not for you, we do have the ability to dissolve the filler and get your lips back to baseline. If you did not like your results from a previous provider or clinic, sometimes it is best to dissolve the filler first and start at baseline. Prior to any treatment, we will be sure to discuss all of your options with you during a full-face consultation.

Q: Is lip filler safe?

Yes! However, with any medical procedure, there is always the possibility of minor complications. Because of this, be sure to select an Injector who is certified and trained to handle any complications.

Q: Will my injector be certified?

You're in good hands at Lotus Wellness and MedSpa! Owner and injector, Mariana Iskander, is a Nationally Certified Physician Associate and is trained and certified in injectables, neuromodulators, and Pain management.

Mariana has extensive experience in medicine and has the background to care for any urgent issues or side effects.
